- Develop and implement a medical affairs operational plan within the ICP that includes structured customer-facing activities (educational programs, product presentations, face to face meetings, train the trainer sessions, advisory board meetings, scientific exchange with regulatory and/or reimbursement authorities etc), appropriate expert engagement and advocacy development plans, as well as collection of key metrics.
- Develop and maintain medical expertise for relevant Boehringer Ingelheim products to meet both internal and external customer needs.
- Support TA MSLs by providing guidance, coaching them on principles of external expert engagement (CEMM) and, by also, doing some direct observation in the field with them.
- Where and when applicable, work on generating and disseminating local data scientifically relevant to Boehringer Ingelheim products.
- Develop and maintain a robust customer-oriented digital program and tools aligned to the TA strategy.
- Industry / Product knowledge
- Works closely with TA-responsible RA
- Works closely with the TA Brand Team
- Aligns and collaborates with Marketing, Sales, HP Operations and Market Access
- If not a specialist in his/her TA, must have at least 4 year experience in TA Medical Affairs either as MSL or Assoc Medical Advisor
- Leadership experience preferred
