- Lead and motivate the housekeeping team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for all housekeeping operations
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Manage inventory, budgets, and staffing levels to optimise department performance
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Implement and maintain quality control systems to monitor and improve housekeeping services
- Train and develop staff members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, implementing solutions to prevent recurrence
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovative housekeeping techniques to enhance operational efficiency
- Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in housekeeping management within a luxury hotel environment
- Proven track record of leading and motivating large teams
- Extensive knowledge of housekeeping operations, standards, and best practices
- Large hotel or resort and pre-opening experience required
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in inventory management and budgeting
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Fluency in English; additional languages, particularly Vietnamese, are highly desirable
- Proficiency in hotel management software systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of Vietnamese culture and hospitality standards is advantageous
