- At least 5 years of experience in selling technology-driven capital equipment is preferred.
- Experience working in an MNC, ideally within a matrix structure, is essential.
- Strong industry connections are a plus (sheet metal fabrication, machine tools, precision engineering, optics, and precision laser technology).
- Proficient user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer).
- Skilled in Presentation, Client Relationship Management, Negotiation, Prospecting, Sales Planning, and motivated to achieve sales goals with creativity.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight timelines.
- Flexibility to travel at short notice, both within Asia and to Germany HQ.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.

- Professional qualification in Engineering or Applied Sciences, with a Bachelor's Degree, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent.
- Identify business opportunities by finding prospects and assessing their position in the industry; research and analyze sales options to meet annual sales goals, sales planning, and direct selling to end users.
- Proactively generate leads and consistently grow the pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Sell products by establishing contact and building relationships with prospects; recommend solutions, prepare quotations and proposals, and close orders.
- Act as the primary liaison for technical, commercial, and promotional support in all sales activities.
- Identify and develop system integration partners.
- Strengthen and maintain client relationships by providing support, information, and guidance; research and recommend new opportunities as well as improvements in profitability and service.
- Identify product improvements or new product opportunities by staying updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
- Maintain service quality by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
- Keep professional and technical knowledge up to date by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking best practices, and participating in professional associations.
- Contribute to team success by achieving related results as required.
- Support marketing activities, including exhibitions, workshops, and seminars.
- Liaise with the Regional Hub and Germany HQ on project discussions.
- Ensure timely reporting of contact activities and sales opportunities in CRM.
- Perform any other tasks or projects assigned by the GM.
