Working RelationshipsInternal:
  • Collaborate with all teams across Vietnam operations.
External:
  • Maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners in Vietnam.
Professional Support
  • Provide professional knowledge and market insights to team members.
  • Guide staff in problem-solving related to sales and customer handling.
  • Support training initiatives and share experience with new employees.
Sales Responsibilities
  • Develop monthly sales plans for assigned products based on targets.
  • Identify, approach, and assess customer needs.
  • Present, consult, negotiate, and close deals with customers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare contracts and appendices.
  • Send and collect signed contracts and appendices from customers.
  • Track and update customers on incoming goods and delivery status.
  • Follow up on customer payments to ensure timely and full debt collection.
  • Maintain customer relationships through regular visits and follow-ups.
  • Monitor product usage and provide technical advice and after-sales support.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and purchasing power.
  • Propose and implement sales strategies aligned with market changes.
  • Expand market reach and develop new customer leads.
  • Collaborate with the QC team on product quality issues when required.
Claims Handling
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints by gathering evidence, preparing reports, consulting relevant teams and managers, and negotiating with clients.
Reporting
  • Prepare assigned reports, including regular sales performance reports and other required documentation.
Team Management
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to set annual goals and action plans for team members.
  • Assign tasks, provide guidance, supervise, and evaluate team performance.
  • Train and develop team members in sales techniques and company-aligned working methods.
  • Advise and support team members in resolving work-related issues.
  • Develop and refine relevant sales processes and working manuals.
  • Join sales staff in executing key sales activities and maintaining strategic relationships, especially with key accounts and long-term partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to propose and implement improvements for better performance.
  • College degree or higher.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the wood industry: Timber/ Veneer
  • Strong understanding of the wood industry, regional culture, and negotiation principles.
  • Solid grasp of sales strategies and the ability to analyze market trends and updates.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); fluency in two or more languages is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to verify and interpret data.
  • Capable of addressing and resolving sales-related issues effectively.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, even under pressure.
  • Honest, detail-oriented, decisive, and highly responsible.
