
Apparel Development Lead

- 8+ years of experience in apparel product development with min 3 years in people management position.
- Experience in the outdoor apparel is most preferable.
- Solid technical knowledge of apparel development, fit, and functional requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and PLM systems (preferably FlexPLM).
- Fluent in English communication skill. Native in Vietnamese.
- Leads and supports the Vietnam development team through coaching and supervision.
- Handles daily team coordination and task oversight.
- Drives product development from initial concept to final production.
- Converts design ideas into commercially viable products.
- Oversees prototype creation, sample assessment, and design refinement to meet style, fit, and function standards.
- Maintains effective communication with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers to ensure technical accuracy and timely execution.
- Implements development best practices to enhance quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Manages cross-category development projects with consistent documentation and execution.
- Delivers products aligned with briefs, cost targets, and margin goals.
- Tracks development timelines to ensure on-time readiness for production.
- Keeps HQ informed with clear updates and early risk identification.
- Contributes to ongoing improvements in tools, processes, and team workflows.
