- Analyse financial statements, cash flows, and other relevant financial data to assess the viability and potential return on investment for proposed deals.
- Create financial models to project future financial performance and assess the impact of various scenarios on investment outcomes.
- Assist in the valuation of assets, companies, or projects using appropriate valuation methodologies.
- Research and analyse market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscapes to provide insights into potential opportunities and risks.
- Gather information about potential target companies, including their financial performance, operational capabilities, and strategic positioning
- Participate in due diligence processes to verify the accuracy of information provided by target companies or assets.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities related to legal, regulatory, financial, and operational aspects of the deal.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive due diligence is conducted
- Prepare and present reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders, senior management, and clients.
- Contribute to the creation of investment memos, term sheets, and other documentation required for deal execution
- Assist in negotiating deal terms and conditions, working closely with legal, finance, and other relevant teams.
- Collaborate with senior team members in drafting contracts and agreements necessary for the transaction
- Maintain open communication channels with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Coordinate various aspects of the deal process, including scheduling meetings, tracking milestones, and managing documentation
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, valuation techniques, and investment principles.
- Excellent research skills to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in using financial software, databases, and tools (Excel, Bloomberg, etc.).
- Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA, etc.) can be advantageous
- Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, or a related field
- Candidates must possess Vietnamese citizenship to be eligible for this position.
