- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement long-term HR strategies for Jiva that are aligned with Anh Nguyen‘s business objectives. Collaborate with senior management to ensure human resources initiatives support overall organizational goals.
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment and selection process for all hospitality positions, from entry-level to management. Develop effective hiring strategies, conduct interviews, and work with hiring managers to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
- Employee Onboarding and Training: Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees, ensuring they receive the necessary training to perform their roles effectively. Coordinate ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Employee Relations: Promote a positive work culture and maintain employee satisfaction through effective communication and conflict resolution. Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.
- Compensation and Benefits: Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent. Conduct regular market research to ensure the organization remains competitive in terms of compensation.
- Compliance and Policy Management: Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Update and maintain HR policies and procedures to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance evaluation process, providing guidance to managers on performance improvement and recognition programs. Implement effective performance management systems to monitor employee progress and productivity.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment, promoting equal opportunities for all employees and ensuring policies are in place to support diversity initiatives.
- Employee Safety and Welfare: Collaborate with relevant departments to create a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master‘s degree may be preferred but is not always required.
- Experience: Several years of progressive HR experience within the hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the unique challenges and dynamics of the hospitality sector, including workforce trends and best practices.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities, capable of managing and motivating a diverse team of HR professionals.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex HR issues and develop effective solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment, where priorities may shift quickly.
